Hydroseeding
For large areas sod becomes too expensive, as an alternative we offer hydroseeding. Hydroseeding is a sprayed on lawn, containing seed, fertilizer and paper mulch. The seed actually germinates in the mulch, not the soil, with the mulch having better properties for seed germination. We can also add a tack to the mix (glue); this helps keep the mulch “stuck” to the soil.
Within four to six months you can have a healthy well established lawn for about two thirds the cost of sod.
