Installation

Components

There are four basic components to your irrigation system:

•  Controllers or Timers – Usually installed near an existing outlet in the garage. The timer is what operates your irrigation system (turns it on and off)

•  Valves – Installed in valve boxes buried in the ground, they are what the timer controls

•  Pipe – the water is carried through the pipe

•  Heads – the water emits from the heads. There are several kinds of heads with different patterns and flow rates
