Irrigation FAQ's
Will I be inconvenienced?
• You will need to be home on the day of your installation.
• The water to the house will be shut off for approximately 1 hour.
• We will need access to your water meter area, please have obstructions moved from that area
• Your yard will need to be free from any obstructions.
Will I need a permit?
• In almost all communities you need a permit to tap into the water supply.
• Some communities are now requiring a pressure test to the vacuum breaker. This must be performed by a master plumber, and this also may be required on an annual or semi annual basis.
How long will it take?
• Usually our crews can install 2 zones per hour on average, so a 6 zone system will take approximately 3 hours.
Do you install second water meters?
• Yes, again, each communities' process is a little different.
