Our Sod is a grade A Kentucky Bluegrass blend
We install sod grown exclusively for us by Brown City Sod Farm, Mike Juip owner. The Juip Family has been sod farmers since the early 1950's. They are an industry leader, using the latest mechanical harvesters, and Scott's sod seed.
Our sod trucks are at the farm by 5:30 each morning to ensure only the freshest sod. With the farm growing just for us, we can have sod cut throughout the day as needed. No need to place our order days or weeks in advance. This allows us the flexibility to cancel our sod if the weather isn't going to cooperate, we also can add more as the day goes on.
About the weather, we will only install sod when the conditions are correct (dry). Because of this we can get a little behind in our scheduling. We do our best to make up lost days when we can. The only way to do a quality grading job for your new lawn is if it is dry.
